Audi and Partners Explain Cellular-to-Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X) Technology

In this video from Audi, testing at Virginia Technical Transportation Institute in partnership with the Virginia Department of Transportation, American Tower, Commsignia, Traffic Technology Services, and Qualcomm Technologies, shows the potential of C-V2X tech for safety. The tool is a near-future in-vehicle alert device that cautions drivers when entering active work zones. When several equipped vehicles pass through the zone, the collective data can become information for other drivers entering the zone to give real-time traffic. Workers, for their part, can be audibly notified when a vehicle is entering their zone.
