- Is there an 8-passenger option? Shoppers frequently ask about seating capacity. The Enclave maxes out at 7 passengers because it only offers second-row captain’s chairs.

Which means fewer “luxury” touches when compared to Cadillac or Lincoln. Yet the Avenir trim is very luxurious. My only complaint is the way GM separates common features like advanced driving assistance between the brands. It’s harder to get those more advanced items in brands like Buick versus others on the GM lineup.
