Next to our houses, our vehicles are usually the largest purchase we make and are often the most important tools in our lives when it comes to everyday needs. When something goes wrong with our cars, we want them repaired immediately because, like most things, we often don’t appreciate what they mean to us until we don’t have them.
Yet many people choose their mechanic in an offhand way. They assume that because someone has a shop and some tools, they must be trustworthy and knowledgeable. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be in business. Right?
