Nash Metropolitan – the city car from back in the day

For about a decade, starting in 1954, a small car from Nash, built as a collaboration between Nash and the British Motor Corporation, built a little two-door runabout that, at the time, was called a “small automobile” and an “economy car” long before fuel economy was on most people’s minds and before the term “city car” was invented – a term that perfectly describes the Nash Metropolitan. These highly collectible little beauties are not just pretty, but are an important look at how economy cars have progressed.
