Here are some photos from today’s drive. The whole family piled into the minivan (a Mazda5) and we went for a cruise down a random highway outside of town. In early August, things are beginning to dry as farms start getting ready to harvest the early straw.

And this is where the road ended and we had to turn around, since the van isn’t equipped with high clearance or four wheel drive. Maybe next time.
