We recently had someone in the forums ask about changing out a crankshaft pulley. She was working on a 1999 Chrysler LHS, but the procedure for removal is basically the same on most vehicles and will depend largely on how the engine is mounted (transverse or forward). Removal of the crankshaft pulley also usually requires a special tool or puller. Some will require a tool specialized to the vehicle or make while others can be removed with a general puller.
