A user in our Ask a Menachic forums recently asked about replacing the hinge pins on his pickup truck. These are relatively universal to most vehicles and can be broken when put under heavy stress. Usually these will last the life of the vehicle, but accidents, impacts, sudden door jammming from wind, etc. can cause them to bend.
When that happens, the pins need to be replaced. Luckily, it’s a relatively simple job that even the least experienced DIY mechanic can do.
