My Answer: For almost every “gas station” that isn’t directly on an entrance/exit from a freeway or major highway, fuel sales are only about a third of the business’ income and probably even less of its profit. Most income is from convenience store sales and their large markups as well as partnerships with other convenience businesses like fast food and the like. So I suspect that many will remain as they are with fewer or no pumps.
