This week, we are doing a virtual tour of the Forney Museum of Transportation in Denver, Colorado. This museum houses one of the largest and most expansive collections of vintage vehicles in the world. For Driving in Wyoming, we are focusing on the cars in the collection, but the museum also houses trains, bicycles, motorcycles, and more. Anything transportation.
You can find the Forney Museum’s website at http://forneymuseum.org.
In this first half, we look at vehicles starting with a 1905 Franklin and going forward to a 1922 Samson truck. In the second half of our tour, we’ll pick up after that Samson with a couple of iconic vehicles from the period and go forward through the collection all the way to 1981, with a unique FREEWAY 3-wheeled car.
Enjoy the second half at this link.
